Amazon Music is seeking a passionate and dynamic Marketing Manager to manage social media & podcast operations responsibilities within our Marketing team. In this role, you will manage collaboration with a complex network of internal (e.g. Marketing, Podcast, Content Teams) and external stakeholders (e.g. agencies, music labels, creators, talent) to ensure strong working relationships and alignment with Amazon Music's goals while maintaining the highest standards of creative output. You will be responsible for managing the operations for our official social handles including Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube, driving long-term strategy, creating engaging content, and fostering community building and management. You will manage collaboration with cross-functional teams for end-to-end implementation of podcast marketing campaigns and the onboarding, asset sharing, and takedown of podcast content on the service.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive social media marketing operations for campaigns spanning across brand, artist content, music festivals, events, partnerships, merch, livestreams, and cultural moments.
- Create captivating and culturally relevant social media content that resonates with diverse and culture-driving audiences, with a special focus on the YA demographic.
- Seamlessly integrate social campaigns into larger projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to influence and inform complex marketing decisions that propel the business forward.
- Manage social agencies and partners to deliver the best-in-class content to our local audiences.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance, optimize strategies, and maximize audience engagement.
- Stay continuously informed about YA and diverse culture trends, infusing the social space with innovative ideas.
- Manage the onboarding, asset sharing, and takedown of podcast content.
- Collaborate with functional teams for end-to-end implementation of podcast marketing campaigns.
- Communicate and implement partner marketing opportunities with leading podcast partners.
- Plan and execute podcast social & partner marketing campaigns to drive podcast awareness & engagement on social.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- 5+ years of social media marketing experience.
- Experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics.
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management.
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and processes.
