Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Position Summary: This position is in the Office of the Attorney General's Executive Staff within the Communications Office in Tallahassee, Florida.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually

Qualifications:

5 years of experience in Graphics Design or a related area and knowledge of and experience utilizing Adobe Creative suite.

A Bachelors Degree in the Graphics Design or a related area may substitute for 4 years of the required work experience.

The Work You Will Do: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Design and produce professional quality artwork that adheres to the OAG requirement and is appropriate for various publications and events.

Types of artworks produced may include freehand and computer-generated illustrations (e.g. drawings, logos, icons, etc.); and finished design and artwork (including covers and layout for publications, booklets, posters, banners, brochures, leaflets, etc.) laid out in electronic format and ready to print, with appropriate instructions for printers.

Consult with and advise program personnel on the design and production of suitable printed and digital materials and displays, translate those ideas into concrete and appropriate design concepts, and produce final products. Produce layout and graphics for internal Department communications materials, including employee identification and recognition materials and external communication materials for periodic activities .

In coordination with external vendor, manage design and upkeep for OAG websites and ensure consistent branding and messaging across websites. Update information contained on websites and check the links on sites regularly to ensure they are working, and that the information provided is current. Track project schedules, maintain control over quality and work produced, and ensure the customer and management are satisfied with the final work product.

Review all requests for printing and composition and make recommendations on the most economical and efficient method to get the desired results; work with multiple printing vendors to obtain bids/estimates for print jobs and ensure that Department's wishes are properly understood and met by printers. Conduct research, as needed, for the purchase of new software, hardware, and other materials necessary for graphics office operations. Manage Communications subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, Stock, and fonts.

Other communication duties as assigned by the Director of Communications.
