Position Description
Lincoln Land Community College is looking for qualified part-time instructors to teach Public Speaking for daytime classes at our main campus in Springfield and our locations in Taylorville, Litchfield, Jacksonville and Beardstown.
As Adjunct Faculty at LLCC, you will receive one paid absence per semester, free access to the LLCC Fitness Center (during available hours), a travel stipend if traveling over twenty miles to campus, and tuition wavier benefit for adjunct faculty and their dependents under the age of 22. Adjuncts with qualifying assignments will also participate in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS). To learn more about all adjunct benefits, please visit our website. Position Requirements
Applicants must possess a master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours of coursework in Communication. Prior teaching experience is preferred; experience in teaching a 100-level college course in public speaking a plus. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
