The successful candidate will be a blended balance of entrepreneur, media strategist, innovative thinker, project manager, relationship builder, and analyst. In this role you will own new customer acquisition and growth efforts for Luna Prime Gaming world-wide. This role will support our go-to-market strategy for launches, own campaign management and optimization, define the investment framework approach, build measurement capabilities and experimentation to new channels and scale Paid Media, Paid Social, and Amazon.com/On-device campaigns. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate with Finance, Creative, Product, Engineering, internal Amazon partners, and BI to deliver on new acquisition goals and be required to present learnings & insights to leadership. You will formulate marketing initiatives that are deeply backed by data and have experience driving customer growth for a new a business.

Key job responsibilities

Act as a strategic partner between creative marketing, agencies, and internal Amazon partner teams (DSPs, devices) to develop creative, effective and holistic media strategies for our marketing campaigns grounded in audience insights.

Seek, evaluate, and launch strategic media opportunities and channels; serve as a thought-leader on new and innovative ways to reach and connect with our customers. Embrace a test-and-learn approach, scaling strategies, and exploring expansion opportunities.

Establish automated reporting and optimization processes. Provide complete performance reporting and analysis on marketing campaigns and take relevant action on insights gained.

Set media goals and KPIs and devise strategies to achieve and measure them. Responsible for adapting and adjusting strategies and plans based on evolving developments and changing conditions.

Own campaigns from end-to-end – manage budgets, targeting and segmentation, messaging, creative, measurement, and reporting.

Experiment across platforms, conducting deep data analysis to uncover new opportunities for growth by implementing and monitoring A/B, multivariate tests to optimize for conversion and other performance/efficiency metrics.

Maintain a thorough understanding of player acquisition trends in the global games segment.

About the team

The Sr. Marketing Manager will be part of the Luna Prime Gaming Marketing Team, which consists of integrated marketing, social, sales, go-to-market, lifecycle and partner marketing functions. As part of this team, you will help grow our customer base and deliver new products and features to gamers. The Luna marketing team looks to strikes a balance between start-up nimbleness with a bias for action, and scaled, customer-obsessed, data-driven decision making. We are collaborative in nature, and firm believers in hard work and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

Experience managing digital display or video advertising campaigns/digital advertising data analysis and campaign optimization expertise

Preferred Qualifications

MBA

Experience in Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops)

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience managing agencies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
