Verasonics is hiring a full-time Product Marketing Manager based out of our office in Kirkland

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for downstream marketing efforts, including product launch planning and product marketing, creation of all marketing materials, sales support, and corporate communications (messaging, advertising, and PR).

This includes Product Lifecycle management, defining the product vision, working closely with upstream marketing and engineering to deliver winning products, working closely with sales to execute successful product launches and meet sales objectives, and designing, building, and implementing effective communication strategies and product and market messaging.

This position requires a unique blend of business, marketing, and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. The successful candidate will have the ability to plan, execute, and supervise marketing projects while managing multiple/conflicting priorities and delivering on established timelines. They will possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence for effective relationship-building and advanced analytical and problem-solving. This position requires the ability to professionally interface with all levels of employees and leadership and manage outside vendors. We are looking for a self-starter who requires minimal direction, drives for results, and has demonstrated success in the timing and effective execution of key projects .

This is a hybrid position with at least 3 days/week in the Kirkland office.

Responsibilities Include: Portfolio management execution, which includes contributing to the overall vision and direction of the portfolio, planning/executing new product launches, managing the product lifecycle, and monitoring post-market activity. Understand the buying process and product usage patterns. Create strong value propositions for all customer segments. Develop pricing approaches consistent with the marketing strategy and brand positioning. Assist with product sales training, providing practical input and expertise to training functions. Develop & execute key initiatives/programs, working with strategic marketing and cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. These include product positioning, marketing collateral and communications, and worldwide lead generation to support sales objectives. Develop the organization's Annual Marketing Plan and participate in developing and executing the Commercialization Plan for launches. Develop, lead, and execute communication strategies that drive the strategic vision for the product portfolio and coach the team on communication channels, strategies, and execution. Develop media plans and advertising campaigns for key industry publications and websites. Manage website development and maintenance activities, including SEO initiatives. Support all commercial activities and sales objectives. Advocate for the customer; support sales team efforts to develop relationships with potential customers. Develop key relationships with key industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions in collaboration with other marketing leaders and senior executives. Coordinate and execute conferences and customer programs. Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of related product marketing experience required,

including experience in product management in biomedical, materials or earth science, or related industry involving test and measurement equipment;

ultrasound and/or test and measurement equipment experience is highly desirable. Prior experience in WW marketing and support of sales teams, including all aspects of product launch and lifecycle management. Demonstrated success in customer profile creation and value proposition development. Experience in the field with sales team and customers with a bias towards responsiveness. Previous experience with the development and execution of effective training programs. Experience with digital marketing, managing and developing social media and traditional media content. Experience in the management of external vendors/contractors. Digital multi-media/video editing and webinar production experience strongly preferred. Ability to travel up to 20-30% of the time.
