Position Overview:
The Communications Graphic Designer will support the Communications Director in executing visual design and content creation across various communication platforms. This role involves graphic design, brand-building, copywriting, copy editing, and digital content management for all internal and external club communications, website, social media, and marketing materials. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining the brand's visual identity and ensuring consistency across all communications, including publications, posters, signage, menu editing, and logo design.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
• Design and create engaging visuals for the weekly e-newsletter, bi-monthly e-magazine, year-end review, annual report, club signage, digital reader boards, internal employee communications, and social media assets.
• Draft and edit copy for club communications, ensuring written content is on-brand, clear, and engaging.
• Edit and update club menus, ensuring consistency with branding and style guidelines.
• Assist in the design and maintenance of the club's website and mobile app, ensuring up-to-date and visually appealing content.
• Develop and implement creative logo designs and branding materials that align with the club's established visual identity.
• Work closely with the Communications Director to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
• Manage and update digital signage, ensuring the club's message is consistent and aligned with current promotions or events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and execute internal and external event and program communications.
• Maintain organized files for all design and communication projects for future reference and consistency.
• Provide creative input and support for marketing and promotional campaigns, contributing to overall communications strategies.

Graphic Design & Content Creation:
Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for newsletters, signage, e-magazines, menus, and other promotional materials.

Copy writing & Editing:
Draft, proofread, and edit communications for clarity, consistency, and impact.

Branding & Visual Identity:
Ensure all design work and communications reflect the club's brand identity and style guide.

Content Management:
Help manage, organize, and update content on the website, app, digital signage, and internal storage, ensuring information is current and engaging.

Assist with Photo Shoots & Video Production:
Support the planning, execution, and editing of photo shoots and video projects, ensuring high-quality visual content aligns with the club's branding and communication goals.

Collaboration & Innovation:
Work closely with the Communications Director and internal teams to brainstorm and implement new design and communication ideas.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) and Canva.
• Previous experience in graphic design, copywriting, or communications role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies, communications, programs, and initiatives.
• Experience with Mailchimp, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics.
• Photography and videography skills desired.
