Technical Designer Job at AG Jeans in South Gate

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of garment construction and fashion design, along with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

This role is essential in bridging the gap between design and production, ensuring that our products meet quality standards and align with the creative vision. If you have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time, in-office position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design teams to illustrate and to develop technical designs
• Use Photoshop for design visualization
• Oversee garment construction processes and provide technical guidance
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and specifications
• Communicate to vendors in detail what went on during fittings
• Determine project supplies and establish realistic timelines for Samples & Production
• Solve problems when there are product issues

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of professional experience
• Experience with garment construction
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of fashion design principles and trends
• Ability to justify design changes
• Deadline-driven and committed to quality
