LOCD Design Group (LOCD) is a premier, award-winning B2B interior design merchandising firm. Since 1985, LOCD has merchandised model homes, amenity spaces, and multi-family homes for national and regional builders and developers.


LOCD is focused on delivering a wide range of looks for diverse demographics and income levels. The challenge is providing our clients with a model home or clubhouse within budgetary constraints and a specified timeline. We work closely with our builder/developer clients, their marketing team, subcontractors, and sales team to provide a product that will appeal to their desired target market.


LOCD seeks an energetic and creative interior designer with exceptional skills in utilizing current design applications and demonstrating knowledge of current market trends. LOCD provides a comprehensive compensation package, including salary, 100% paid health/dental/vision/life insurance premiums, unlimited paid time off, and a 401k/Profit-Sharing plan.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  2. 2+ years of B2B model home, clubhouse, and/or multi-family interior design experience
  3. Self-starter mentality
  4. Team player who can work with multiple designers, builder customers, subcontractors, etc.
  5. Work a minimum 40-hour work week, with the ability to work additional hours and possibly weekends depending on workload and installation needs
  6. Perform installations which include travel, the ability to lift small furniture, artwork, and accessories
  7. Must be able to travel to in-state and out-of-state projects
  8. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  9. Proficient in:
  10. Client presentations including Photoshop, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams
  11. AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
  12. Space planning, furniture and material selection, color composition, retailing, and a strong understanding of current design trends.
  13. Project and time management skills to meet deadlines
  14. Professional communication and presentation skills – the ability to present to builder client decision-makers in person and via video conferencing.
