Berry Companies Inc, in Wichita KS is an administrative group, headquartered in Wichita, providing financial, accounting, human resources, risk management, marketing and information technology services and solutions to each of our nine operating divisions. Our divisions are engaged in the distribution of construction and material handling equipment and supplies.
We are looking for talented and collaborative Graphic Designer to be part of our team. You will work with our marketing department and family of divisions to bring to life ideas, both print and digital that follow the brand guidelines of the equipment manufactures that we represent. The ideal candidate will develop various marketing materials, source images and artwork, collate content, streamline marketing production, and handle general marketing activities. Your creative thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part of enhancing our organization's image, improving communication with customers, and encouraging business growth through effective designs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create original artwork incorporating design, photography, illustration, and text in draft form for approval and make revisions based on feedback.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal marketing team in the design concept phase through completion of projects.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud - including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. - to create logos, graphics, advertisements and billboards, layout designs, landing page designs, digital creatives, and other projects.
Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the tone and brand of company communications.
Stay up to date on the newest trends, tools, and insights in graphic design.
Adhere to organization brands, goals, and strategies.
Participate in organization-wide projects and events when needed.
Ensure brand standards are being met on all visual communication pieces.
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree Graphic Design or related field.
Proficient with design and editing in Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Knowledge of MS365 Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).
A compelling portfolio with projects showcasing layout/print design, logo design, and knowledge of typography.
Knowledge of multimedia (web design, social, etc.) formatting, preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication - articulate clearly and effectively thoughts, ideas, plans, etc.
Project management/time-management skills- juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Being familiar with project management software is an asset.
