The Position
The Influencer Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
- Achieving campaign goals for influencer marketing activations.
- Ensuring all work is completed on time, to a high standard, and client-ready.
- Proactively communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional work.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance agency processes.
- Must be based in LA or NY.
- Must be able to speak conversational Spanish.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have at least 1-2 years of client-dedicated experience in influencer marketing working in retail, or brand-direct influencer industry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering high quality, on-time work that achieves campaign goals; contributing to Influencer Marketing Team process and organizational improvements; and promoting overall team unity
- Accountable for moving work forward within project teams; solutioning around roadblocks within their day and larger problem solving with the team; and developing strong relationships with talent agencies and influencer partners
- Provides well-informed, strategic insight and ideas when reviewing strategy and activation planning
- Active contributor in IMM team meetings, taking to-dos and cascading messaging when appropriate
- Contributing to agency process improvement initiatives, as needed
- Proactively communicates with team members when deadlines or projects are at risk while providing solutions and asking for help, as needed
- Works to solve issues within the project team, elevating larger issues to management at the appropriate time.
- Demonstrates ability to cultivate strong relationships with talent managers and influence partners and utilize those relationships when appropriate to increase efficiency and creativity in the role
- Approaches negotiations strategically, confidently, and creatively with a win/win mindset, using efficient and kind communications
- Ability to pivot approach to negotiations and adapt quickly
- Manages influencer compensation budget strategically, includes ability to provide thoughtful insight into how the client’s influencer compensation budget is being managed
- Provides recommendations as to improving template agreements as appropriate
- Delivers thoughtful, quality campaign briefs that require minimal edits, cover all campaign requirements, are engaging, and result in the influencer having a full understanding of the campaign goals and their role in the project
- Proven ability to manage client feedback on creative briefs and incorporate learning into future work
- Committed to providing campaign solutions for timeline prioritization with an understanding of the need for timeline adherence in the campaign process
- Creates communication and outreach plans relevant to client campaigns.
- Develops campaign budgets.
- Routinely informs agency teams on emerging digital trends, behaviors, and technologies, to help these teams remain conversant in all types of digital opportunities.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Ability to operate with autonomy and confidence
- Knowledge of the FTC disclosure rules and best practices as it relates to influencer marketing
- You’re a tactical implementer and know how to make big ideas come to life in small ways
- Strong account management skills to make sure tasks are delivered to the client with high quality and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, project management and cross functional collaboration skills.
- Possess a deep knowledge of the social/digital space as well as influencer marketing including but not limited to influencer/talent search and acquisition, content development and management of social platform
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and excellent follow through.
- Passion for pop-culture/insights and trends, especially in the tech space.
- Strong collaborator and mentor with the ability to bring out the best in agency talent to produce great work for clients.
- This position may require occasional travel on an estimated quarterly basis.
