Position Summary: The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the vision and mission of Athey Creek by managing and building engagement with those who interact with the church through our digital channels. The Marketing Manager leads the development and implementation of Athey Creek's marketing strategy focused on the mission of "reach."
Experience and Knowledge Required:
• Agree to Athey Creek's doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in What We Believe/Vision statement
• Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures
• 3-5 years of non-profit marketing experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, mentor, and guide team members
• Skilled in developing processes, organizational management, and providing vision to coordinate and structure projects effectively
• Effective at multitasking and managing time to meet strict deadlines while remaining adaptable to change
• In-depth knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools, channels, and strategies, with a commitment to continuous learning
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for website traffic growth
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead a team in developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive marketing strategy for physical, digital, and hybrid audiences
• Monitor data and analytics to ensure alignment with organizational goals and optimize marketing effectiveness
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Communications to seamlessly integrate key objectives and campaigns
• Oversee all marketing efforts, including both traditional and digital advertising initiatives
• Foster strong cross-team collaboration by maintaining clear and consistent communication with key stakeholders to support organization-wide priorities
• Ensure marketing projects and campaigns are completed on time and executed with excellence through effective project management
• Cast vision, provide strategic direction and efficiently allocate resources to achieve marketing objectives
• Plan and implement targeted online advertising strategies to engage specific audiences
• Uphold brand standards, messaging, and best practices in partnership with the Director of Communications to ensure consistency across all church communications and marketing initiatives
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data (web analytics, campaign performance, etc.) to inform content strategy and enhance audience engagement
• Perform other duties as assigned.
