Title: Technical Writer Location: Milwaukee Type: Direct Hire Hours: Monday - Friday, 8-5 Pay Range: $65k - $75k, bonus eligible Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Holidays, etc. Summary Connect Search is hiring a Technical Writer in Milwaukee. After training is completed this position offers a hybrid work from home schedule of up to 2 days per week. Responsibilities The Technical Writer is responsible for researching, developing, and creating manuals, technical instructions, bulletins, support documents, and other technical publications for all vertical reciprocating conveyors, cart conveyors, and other custom material lifting equipment manufactured by the organization. All documentation must adhere to company policies, customer requirements, industry standards, and State and Federal regulations. Qualifications Ability to interpret and translate complex technical informationincluding engineering drawings, CAD files, mechanical drawings, electrical blueprints, technical specifications, and processesinto clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation tailored for each specific audience Proficiency in SolidWorks Composer, MechWorks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop Knowledge of Premier Pro or Premier Rush is a plus) Experience with creating digital/web-based documentation is a plus
