Paid Media Manager Job Description
Position Summary
The Paid Media Manager is responsible for contributing to new and existing marketing efforts by managing pay-per-click advertising for various product lines.
Working alongside a team of passionate professionals and leaders, the Paid Media Manager will play an integral role in ensuring that Click Thesis, a lead generation company , remains a leader in the industry by supporting both existing and new marketing programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and manage PPC campaigns across various channels, mainly Social, Third Party Platforms and Google Ads and Bing Ads .
- Perform keyword research both inside and outside of the campaign to ensure the best targeting and negative matches.
- Optimize bidding and overall campaign management, including but not limited to keywords, placements, devices, geographic, demographics, and other levels .
- Perform daily account management of PPC campaigns:
- Review expensive under-performing keywords.
- Ensure PPC campaigns do not exceed weekly and monthly ad spend budgets.
- Maintain Quality Score, impression share, and other key metrics .
- Write engaging and concise ad copy to modify CTAs on ads to boost click-through rates and landing pages to boost conversion rates .
- Monitor, evaluate, and present the performance of campaigns by generating weekly and monthly performance reports , analyzing trends, goals, opportunities, and other key performance indicators.
- Stay updated on search engine and PPC industry trends .
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Discover approaches and ways to decrease the risk of click fraud .
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice, to ensure individual, team, and organizational success.

Required Skills
- Self-motivated, creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills .
- Computer literacy with demonstrated proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office , including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Functional experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Facebook Business Suite .
- Experience with all social media advertising platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills – ability to work independently and with remote team members.
- Impeccable attention to detail .
- Strong analytical skills .
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a PPC Specialist/Manager or a Digital Marketing Specialist with PPC experience.
- 1-2 years of CMS experience required , with WordPress and/or Expression Engine being a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in Google Ads strongly preferred.
- Experience in a remote work environment is highly preferred.
- Experience in a lead generation or similar technology company is a strong plus.
- Proven project management experience and ability to handle multiple priorities at one time.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills .
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities .
- Strong research and analytical skills – comfortable analyzing high volumes of data daily.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Full-time position , typically 40 hours per week , but may require additional hours, nights, or weekends on occasion.
- Remote and indoor office environment.
- Vision and hearing must be normal or corrected to normal.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer .
- Manual dexterity required for extended computer usage.
