Hybrid Remote Opportunity: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop detailed piping drawings based on specifications and work order instructions.
  • Ensure design products and engineering deliverables conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
  • Prepare Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Consult with vendors on project-related activities.
  • Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups, considering ease of manufacture, material availability, and contractual specifications.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of piping design experience within the shipbuilding industry.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software, such as Ship Constructor, Nupas Cadmatic, Inventor, and CATIA.
  • Strong understanding of piping design principles in the shipbuilding industry.
  • Ability to prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
