Position Description and Responsibilities We are seeking an entry level architectural designer with 0-3 years of professional experience to work as part of our collaborative design studios in our Lawrence, KS office. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is seeking to gain intellectual insight to the design process as well as work in varied stages of design. Your contribution to the design process will include any and all efforts necessary to successfully develop and execute the design intent. In this role: You’ll have the opportunity to have direct involvement with all aspects of the design and documentation process, including: planning and programming; ideating, rendering, and presenting design concepts; coordinating drawings and consultants; contributing to technical drawings and detailing. You’ll have the opportunity to both contribute and benefit from the mentorship of your team. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in and support marketing, business development and other efforts that directly contribute to the health and success of our studio. We are Seeking Candidates with: Professional degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program Strong graphic, conceptual, and design skills Ability to create new ideas, both independently and in collaboration Experience in early design phases, including Programming, Concept Design, and Schematic Design Ability to communicate design ideas in a variety of graphic media (including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite) Strong rendering skills (including proficiency in Rhino, SketchUp,and Enscape Ideal candidate will be committed to pursuing licensure in architecture.We are seeking individuals who value the responsibility of design, humbly engage many, pursue ideas with rigor, and seek meaningful outcomes both big and small.
