Overview
The EEPD Internship is an opportunity to learn and develop your Design verification skills by working with the EEPD Silicon Design Verification team. Our internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and who will be continuing their studies in the fall.
The typical base pay range for this position is USD $30.00 - $52.50 per hour. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
Assisting with block and full chip verification tasks Do a first level analysis on common RTL regression failures, debug and triage Test bench modifications as needed in System Verilog/UVM Create/modify tests to ensure coverage Run block and SOC level simulations at both RTL and netlist level Assist with DV flows, scripts and automation This is a great opportunity for anyone planning to start a career in ASIC Design Verification Competencies

(Requirements)
Candidates should be seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Courses in computer science/engineering with emphasis on digital logic design Experience in verification concepts either as part of coursework or prior internship Working knowledge of Verilog and System Verilog Knowledge in algorithms/data structures Programming in Perl, Python and Shell Able to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history Must be 18 years of age or older Belief in Diversity Synaptics is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
