Position: Controls Engineer - Studio 5000 & Redundant Controller Experience RequiredLocation: Carrollton, TXHiring Contact: Jacob Parish | 850-806-2547Compensation: Below —Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced PLC Engineer to develop, test, and program electronic control systems for mission-critical spaces. This role focuses on creating and implementing PLC programs for HVAC equipment in critical environments, providing technical support during commissioning, and working directly with clients to meet their automation needs. Youll be essential to delivering reliable control systems for our customers most important infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss mechanical and electrical automation requirementsControl Programming: Develop PLC programs to control HVAC equipment maintaining critical spacesProgram Maintenance: Provide customer-requested changes and updates to existing databasesTechnical Support: Offer expertise in customer-facing meetings and during system commissioningField Collaboration: Support field teams, contractors, and vendors during project implementationCommissioning: Debug installation issues during both static and dynamic start-up phasesTroubleshooting: Identify and resolve system errors efficientlyDocumentation: Create comprehensive programming development processes for projectsSystem Testing: Ensure all control systems meet performance requirements and specificationsContinuous Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to programming standardsQualifications:5 years experience as a PLC Programmer2 years experience minimum with Studio 5000 SoftwareExperience programming complex chiller and/or boiler systems (Central Plants)Experience programming redundant PLC controller managersExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesSelf-motivated with a results-oriented mindsetAbility to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environmentsCapable of working independently without constant oversightBachelors degree in software, mechanical, or electrical engineering preferredIgnition Software experience a plusCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $120,000 - 150,000 per year based on experienceBenefits Package:401(k) planHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offEmployee assistance programJoin our team and help drive the future of industrial automation while advancing your career.
