Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Grant Writer & Administrator on behalf of our client, a wonderful organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities. This is a direct-hire, remote position that can be worked anywhere in New York state!


Perks:
  • Annual salary between $90,000-$135,000!

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and research funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Develop compelling grant proposals and ensure timely submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess grant eligibility and gather necessary information.
  • Maintain compliance with grant requirements, including documentation and reporting.
  • Track and evaluate grant-funded programs to assess impact and effectiveness.
  • Manage grant-related audits and financial reporting.
  • Facilitate coordination for multi-department grant initiatives.
  • Maintain centralized records of grant applications, awards, and funding status.
  • Present grant activity updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in grant writing, grant administration, or fundraising.
  • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple grant projects with competing deadlines.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, corporate, and foundation funding sources.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.

Compensation: This position offers an annual salary between $90,000-$135,000 in addition to a full benefits package.
