New York City's Finest Signs & Graphics Fabricator
Signs and Graphics is a local vinyl sign company with customers around NYC and NJ. Currently we are looking for a full-time Vinyl Graphics Installer to join our team in Linden, NJ. This person would be responsible for production, shop management, along with installations of signs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to clients and install graphics, signs, and acrylic lettering. Meet deadlines, install signs and graphics neatly and accurately, ensuring our final product meets customer expectations.
- Working knowledge of construction-style power tools and general sign installation equipment.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner.
- Comfortable with heights, working on ladders and lifts.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to present yourself in a professional manner to clients.
Education and Experience
- 1+ years’ experience in commercial signage installation.
Qualifications
- Follow a layout to place computer-generated vinyl or full-color graphic images on a pre-determined substrate or medium.
- Prepare substrate for sign making, which may include cutting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining inventory.
- Install signs at local customer locations as required.
- Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images.
- Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production.
- Remove and apply vinyl graphics.
- Make signs and assemble signs at the shop.
- Operate a vinyl cutter and printing machine.
- Good multitasking skills are required for this position.
- Work independently on a client’s job site.
