Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Music Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide music therapy sessions tailored to meet the needs of individuals and small groups.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct individual and group music therapy sessions based on client needs and goals.
2. Utilize a variety of music interventions, including singing, instrument playing, songwriting, and movement.
3. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging therapeutic environment.
4. Participate in occasional team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) required.
3. Experience working with children, individuals with special needs, or diverse populations preferred.
4. Strong musical skills, including proficiency in guitar, piano, voice, and percussion.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
7. Reliable transportation to travel to client locations (if applicable).
