We are seeking multiple skilled and detail-oriented Software Developers with expertise in C#, WPF, and MVVM to join our client's team for dynamic long-term contract roles. The ideal candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality desktop applications while ensuring minimal disruption to existing functionality. These roles require a strong object-oriented programming mindset, a passion for best practices, and experience working within a Microsoft technology stack. We are open to junior and senior-level candidates, with responsibilities adjusted accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain WPF applications using MVVM architecture.
• Implement XAML, data binding, dependency properties, commands, and templating to create dynamic and responsive UI components.
• Ensure seamless integration of new code without disrupting existing functionality.
• Quickly assess and resolve code defects, executing an effective repair roadmap.
• Work closely with UX designers to develop user-friendly and intuitive applications.
• Utilize multi-threaded programming to enhance performance and responsiveness.
• Stay up to date with Microsoft’s development roadmap, security best practices, and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and peer mentoring (for Senior roles).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in WPF and MVVM.
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with XAML, data binding, dependency injection (DI), and IoC containers.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or other deployment/change management software.
• Familiarity with WCF, IIS, Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, MVC, and ASP.NET Core.

• Open-source project contributions.
