About the Role

West County Net is seeking a PPC/SEM Specialist to join our digital marketing team and help our clients drive measurable growth through paid search and digital advertising.

We take a data-driven, strategic approach to pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine marketing (SEM)—delivering high-performance campaigns that generate quality leads and maximize return on investment (ROI) for our clients. As a PPC/SEM Specialist, you’ll manage and optimize paid ad campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Google Merchant and Bing Ads, ensuring our clients achieve outstanding results.

What You’ll Do

✔ PPC/SEM Campaign Management – Plan, launch, and optimize paid search and display campaigns to drive high-quality traffic and conversions.

✔ Keyword Research & Bid Strategy – Conduct in-depth keyword research, set bid strategies, and refine targeting to maximize ad performance.

✔ Performance Optimization – Monitor and analyze ad performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost-per-click (CPC), and return on ad spend (ROAS), making data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.

✔ Landing Page Optimization – Collaborate with the web team to optimize landing pages for higher conversions and user experience.

✔ Remarketing & Audience Targeting – Implement and refine retargeting campaigns, audience segmentation, and lookalike targeting to improve conversion rates.

✔ Analytics & Reporting – Use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and insights to track performance, create reports, and present findings with actionable recommendations.

✔ Industry Expertise & Growth – Stay up to date with Google Ads updates, PPC trends, and digital marketing best practices to keep our strategies ahead of the competition.

What We’re Looking For

✔ 2+ years of experience managing PPC/SEM campaigns with proven success.
✔ Strong expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking.
✔ Ability to analyze data, adjust campaigns, and optimize ad spend for maximum ROI.
✔ Experience with A/B testing, ad copywriting, and bid management strategies.
✔ Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and tracking pixels for accurate attribution.
✔ Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
✔ Must be able to work onsite in Santa Rosa, CA.
