$45.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Digital Designer - B2B/B2C Advertising & Paid Social Assets

Employment Type: Contract (6+ months to start)

Workplace Type: Remote or Hybrid

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Compensation: $45.00-$55.00 hourly

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We're seeking a contract Mid-Level Digital Designer, reporting to the Senior Designer, to create compelling paid social campaigns and B2B marketing materials while ensuring consistent brand expression across all channels. This is a contract position with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design high-performing paid social campaigns and digital advertising assets
  • Create engaging motion graphics, animated content, and video assets optimized for social platforms
  • Design and execute B2B marketing materials including sales presentations, email campaigns, and digital collateral
  • Partner with copywriters to develop original creative concepts that drive conversion
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Assist with A/B testing and design optimization based on performance metrics

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AS/BS in Design or similar fields - desired but not required
  • 3-5 years of digital design experience
  • Experience creating paid social assets and banner advertisements
  • Solid understanding of social media design best practices
  • Advanced skills in motion graphics and video content creation
  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, and digital asset delivery
  • Understanding of digital advertising platforms and specifications
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles
  • Experience with design testing and optimization
  • Design skills with Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop), CapCut, and Figma
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data
  • Clear communication skills and possess a detail-oriented mindset while maintaining efficiency
  • Self-motivated with good time management
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience working remotely

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic video production and editing skills
  • B2B & B2C marketing experience
  • Understanding of automotive industry
  • Prior experience working as a contractor or agency consultant in a Digital Designer role
