Matlen Silver is hiring: Senior User Experience Researcher in Houston

As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing research activities that inform and guide product and service design decisions. Your insights will directly influence how we build intuitive, meaningful experiences for our users. While your primary focus will be on research, the ideal candidate will also have some background or familiarity with UX design principles—a plus that will help translate research findings into actionable design solutions.

Responsibilities

1. 5+ years of experience in UX Research or related roles, preferably with some exposure to UX Design practices.
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, or a related field.
3. Proven track record of designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., user interviews, field studies, usability testing, surveys, A/B testing).
4. Ability to translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and cross-functional teams.
6. Working knowledge of UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) is a plus.
7. Knowledge or experience with Adobe Analytics is a plus.
8. Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
