Position Overview
The VP, Commercial Marketing will set the strategic vision for commercial marketing, driving go-to-market (GTM) strategy, portfolio execution, and revenue growth across medical, eCommerce, Amazon, and retail channels. This leader works in close collaboration with the VP, Brand to ensure all commercial efforts align with Kate Farms' Masterbrand strategy, delivering a seamless and impactful brand and product experience across all touchpoints.
As a key member of the commercial leadership team, this role shapes how Kate Farms brings products to market, ensuring commercial success through strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and strong execution. This leader also partners with channel leaders to ensure a seamless commercialization process that drives immediate results and long-term brand equity.
What You Will Do
Commercial Marketing & Portfolio Execution
- Leads commercial marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth targets and market expansion goals
- Drives GTM strategy, leading product launches, marketing activations, and demand-driving initiatives
- Aligns and integrates channel-specific strategies across medical, retail, eCommerce, and Amazon to support revenue and commercial objectives
- Owns P&L responsibility for commercial marketing, ensuring investments drive profitability and sustainable growth
- Owns packaging and pricing strategy, optimizing formats, positioning, and profitability across channels while ensuring brand consistency with the VP, Brand
- Leads portfolio evolution, ensuring product updates align with consumer needs, category trends, and commercial priorities
- Partners with VP, New Enterprises to commercialize new innovations, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to execution
Omnichannel Leadership & Commercial Execution
- Leads omnichannel strategy, ensuring a seamless, integrated experience across all customer and HCP touchpoints—including digital, retail, eCommerce, medical sales, and direct engagement—aligning marketing, service, and interactions to deliver a unified brand experience
- Integrates and optimizes marketing activations across digital, retail, and medical channels to enhance awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Uses performance data and market insights to refine strategies and improve retention, conversion, and customer experience
Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution & Channel Activation
- Leads GTM strategy and execution, driving product launches, marketing initiatives, and portfolio expansion to accelerate trial, adoption, and revenue growth across medical, retail, Amazon, and eCommerce
- Develops and implements channel-specific programs, collaborating with Sales, Retail, and Revenue Operations to optimize launch activations, promotions, and sales enablement
- Partners with the VP, Brand to align commercial activations with the Masterbrand strategy while tailoring execution for each channel
Strategy & Engagement (HCP & Consumer)
- Leads end-to-end HCP & Consumer marketing strategies that drive both prescription-based recommendations and direct-to-consumer demand
- Leads integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring tailored activations for HCPs, caregivers, and consumers
- Drives the development of educational & promotional materials, ensuring cohesive storytelling across HCP, patient, and consumer touchpoints
- Works cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Medical Science, and Performance Marketing teams to refine engagement and positioning strategies
Revenue Growth & Commercial Optimization
- Owns the marketing investment strategy, tracking performance and optimizing spend to maximize commercial impact
- Partners with Brand, Retail, Amazon, Medical and eCommerce teams to ensure marketing activations translate into strong revenue performance
- Uses analytics and market insights to continuously improve omnichannel performance, pricing, and promotional effectiveness
- Aligns with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Demand Planning to optimize pricing, promotions, and channel investments
Talent Development
- Builds and leads a high-performing team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability
- Sets clear performance expectations and KPIs, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Fosters an inclusive and empowering environment, ensuring diverse perspectives contribute to creative and strategic initiatives
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Is a proven Commercial Marketing Leader - 15+ years of experience leading product marketing, GTM execution, and multi-channel commercialization in consumer health, medical nutrition, or wellness brands
- Is a Business-Driven Strategist - Ability to translate brand and product strategy into commercial execution that drives revenue
- Is a Cross-Functional Connector - Strong collaboration with Brand, eCommerce, Retail, and Sales to ensure marketing and sales alignment
- Is an HCP & Consumer Marketing Expert - Experience marketing to healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, caregivers, and consumers
- Is a Omnichannel Leader - Expertise in creating a connected experience across medical, retail, Amazon, and eCommerce
- Is a Data-Driven Decision Maker - Comfort with tracking performance, optimizing spend, and making revenue-driven marketing decisions
- Has a strong commitment to company mission and values
- Has the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component that together comprise the On-Target-Earnings (OTE). Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of equity.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest salary range we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of background verification.
$235,000 - $275,000 USD
For full-time salaried or hourly workers, our total rewards package also include the option to enroll in a company-matched 401k plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive a generous PTO benefit with a starting accrual of 15 days per year (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure), two weeks of paid "Refresh" leave, 80 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
