Overview:
The Proposal Writer/Coordinator will be responsible for developing all materials related to Statement of Qualification (SOQ) packages, technical proposals, and interview presentations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews and analyzes SOQs, RFQs, RFPs etc.; develops complete management and/or technical volume responses, outlines and organizes the approach for delivering a winning response.

Work with Business Development and Marketing to manage the full life cycle of the proposal response process from analysis of RFP to final production and submission of proposals (to include printing/binding).

Writes complete technical and management proposals coordinating as necessary with business units, operational/current program personnel and centers of excellence.

Preparing presentation materials for client interviews.

Interviews program managers and technical experts and develops proposal narratives.

Writes, edits, and rewrites technical sections.

Write/edit/proofread/format/maintain staff resumes and input text and certifications, roles, responsibilities, etc. to SharePoint in collaboration with Human Resources to ensure consistency.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

4+ years of proposal/pursuit management experience in the construction or engineering industry.

A self-starter and leader with the initiative, skill, and personal commitment required to concurrently manage multiple projects and details and complete tasks and projects.

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills (written and oral).

Ability to PERSONALLY GENERATE/write/develop creative, compelling (and winning) written responses to requests and solicitations.

A thorough understanding of proposal and presentation best practices and tools, including conveying messages, themes, discriminators, and responses to evaluation criteria.

A solid working knowledge of desktop publishing software and graphics programs (Adobe Creative Suite), word processing programs (Microsoft Word) and presentation software (PowerPoint)

A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, etc.

Strong writing, editing, and graphic design/layout skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/hr.
