Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to drive resort visitation, brand growth, and revenue in key areas such as visitors, passes, and lodging. This role requires an experienced marketing professional with a deep understanding of integrated marketing, media strategy, campaign execution, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in developing and executing impactful marketing plans, overseeing advertising initiatives, and identifying growth opportunities through analytics. This position leads a team of direct reports and reports to the Director of Marketing.
Location Requirement:
This position requires relocation to Grand County, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:
Integrated Marketing Planning:
- Develop annual marketing plans to drive revenue growth, in collaboration with senior marketing leadership.
- Create and maintain effective marketing calendars for diverse audiences.
- Implement integrated marketing and advertising strategies to achieve business goals.
- Lead key initiatives with strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop and execute compelling promotional campaigns.
Advertising & Paid Media:
- Provide strategic direction for media planning and audience targeting to achieve key performance indicators.
- Manage advertising deliverables, ensuring timely execution of campaigns.
- Analyze guest demographics, behaviors, and promotional effectiveness to optimize marketing efforts.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Business Analytics & Growth:
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, guest insights, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to leverage data for marketing initiatives.
- Develop and present marketing performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Implement approved optimizations based on business needs, creative performance, and market dynamics.
Budget Management:
- Manage marketing budgets in partnership with senior leadership.
- Oversee budget reconciliation, ensuring financial alignment and accountability.
- Provide budget reports and recommendations to senior marketing executives.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals.
- Foster collaboration across departments to execute marketing strategies effectively.
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading and coaching marketing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of advertising strategy, media planning, and campaign execution.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in turning data insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience with project management tools such as Basecamp or Airtable.
- Understanding of brand identity and maintaining brand consistency across all channels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven approach.
- Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset with strong business acumen.
- Passion for outdoor recreation and familiarity with the mountain lifestyle.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 5-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2C strategies.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or outdoor recreation industries is a plus.
