Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Junior Corporate Event Planner (Sales) (2+ years events experience required) Must reside in the Seattle area. These events include virtual experiences, physical in-person events and a hybrid of both as we pioneer this new form of gatherings! Our team of kickass event professionals spans across the nation. We are looking for a seasoned events professional with a sales-driven work method to join our rapidly growing team and help us expand into brand-new markets! WHO YOU ARE: You love talking and listening to people in hopes of figuring out a solution to their problems. You ask a lot of questions. You get an adrenaline rush every time you cross something off your list. You don’t just hit your goals, you crush them. You have a Type-A personality and probably color-code your closet, or make your bed before you get in it. You’re used to wearing many hats, and you look great in all of them! You take initiative, not a backseat. Your attention to detail is so refined that you could find a needle in a haystack without breaking a sweat. You must have been a juggler in a past life because now you can multitask like a pro! You always want to be the first to figure “it” out - whatever it is. You’ve been “in events” your whole career and aren’t sure where your next opportunity for growth is, but a challenge, a risk and something refreshing lights you up. You will grow new corporate business for WCE by selling, then producing full scale events from start to finish. DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE: SALES Recruiting brand new clients via cold calling, electronic and other outreach methods Closing a high volume of virtual and in-person event bookings and upselling to meet monthly/quarterly sales and revenue goals Negotiating rates with venues and vendors EVENT PLANNING Managing client budgets of $3,000 - $100,000 to cover all elements of their desired virtual, physical or hybrid event Building Run of Shows, creating timelines, communicating with venues/vendors, and fully producing corporate events from A to Z Day-of event management either onsite or virtually from load-in to load-out. Event Assistant or Coordinator provided as support for venue/vendor outreach, client proposals, and event production. QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years experience managing corporate events Experience and interest in event design preferred, but not required Event sales experience highly preferred Experience with software platforms like Zoho CRM, Monday.com, G-Suite, Canva, etc. highly preferred Daily and weekly interaction with company HQ and other Regional Markets via Zoom. We Crush Events as a TEAM and we all work collaboratively! AGGRESSIVE COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary + Commissions of $70K - $85K+ at goal. Cell phone allowance, mileage reimbursement (in-person events), health benefits & 401k, quarterly/annual incentives provided. LOCATION: The position is fully remote. Must have a dedicated home office space for remote work. You’ll be in the field for client and partner-facing appointments, and of course onsite events. JOB TYPE: Full-Time Seniority level
