The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team including a nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain, and volunteer, we help the patient and family walk through their journey.
Volunteers are essential members of the patient’s hospice care team. Volunteers are trained to listen, care, and provide companionship.
About Suncrest Hospice
Suncrest hospice provides care to patients who are terminally ill within their own place of residence. Our clinical team is comprised of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, certified nursing assistants, and volunteers. Suncrest Hospice in the Bay Area currently serves Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, and Solano counties.
