Get Outdoors Leadville! (GOL!) is a grant-funded initiative of the PROS department working to expand equitable access to culturally informed and enriching outdoor experiences in Lake County. The Community Gear Library Technician will support the day-to-day operations of the GOL! Community Gear Library (CGL).
General Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions
- Community Gear Library Operations
- Maintain accurate inventory in myTurn platform
- Repair any damaged gear or equipment, including bikes
- Complete routine maintenance of gear and equipment, including bikes
- Staff CGL open hours
- Advise on new gear purchases
- Process and fulfill reservations through myTurn platform
- Provide basic instruction on gear to members, as needed
- Check the central CGL email and Google Voice account
- Advise and implement gear storage solutions
- Data tracking and reporting
- Member support and correspondence
- Laundry
- Promote general programming, events and community information
- Support the delivery and planning of GOL! community programming
Other Duties (5%)
- Attend staff meetings and check-ins, as required

Notice of Emergency/Disaster Responsibilities
All Lake County Employees may be required to work as a Disaster Service Worker when a local declaration of emergency or disaster is declared by the Board of County Commissioners. To be prepared for this role, all employees and emergency service function (ESF) leads will attend emergency management trainings and exercises as requested by the Director of Emergency Management. With advanced notification from OEM, employees will make reasonable efforts to attend training events in coordination with other employees and supervisors.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a current driver's license
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, virtual meeting, and calendaring applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Commitment to GOL!’s mission and core values
- Experience with outdoor recreation gear and equipment
- Ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends
- Preferred bilingual and bicultural in English and Spanish

- Ability to work indoors in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
