Job Description

The Department of Communication at the University of Indianapolis is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach a graphic design course in the summer of 2025 for the public relations master’s degree program. This course is delivered asynchronously and fully online, allowing students to complete assignments independently at a pace determined by the instructor.

Responsibilities

• Teach a graduate-level course on graphic design in public relations contexts
• Provide instruction focused on InDesign fundamentals and its applications in public relations
• Develop and facilitate engaging online learning experiences
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in art, design, visual communications, or a related field preferred
• A bachelor’s degree with significant professional experience may be considered
• Previous college teaching experience is ideal
