Owned and operated by Keystone Sports and Entertainment LLC ("KSE"), the group launched the Philadelphia Union's inaugural season in 2010 and opened Talen Energy Stadium in June, 2010. This senior youth leadership position will report directly to the Senior Director, Union Youth, directing and managing staffing needs for all active and upcoming Union Youth programs such as camps, clinics and club training. A pivotal part of this role will be program growth and recruiting and developing coaches to provide consistency throughout the Union youth program. Core to the role is the ongoing positive promotion of the Philadelphia Union through soccer organizations and communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Oversight / Leadership
- Oversee all Technical aspects of Union Youth.
- Develop and Implement all Union Youth Development Curriculums and session design for Union Youth Programming.
- Oversee and manage all Union Youth Technical Staff. This includes all Full Time and Part Time Staff.
- Manage and Implement all Union Youth staffing needs for all Union Youth Programming. (Camps, Clinics, Affiliates, PPP / UDP, PDP, Union Rec and Summer Select)
- Perform Coaching education to Union Youth Coaches and Affiliate Clubs as directed.
- Coach as needed in other Union Youth Programs.
- Ensure the principles, integrity and values of the program are to the highest standards.
Player Pathway Program: (PPP / UDP)
- Serve as overall lead for talent identification.
- Manage current players and increase all PPP / UDP programs numbers and revenue (Boys, Girls, Juniors, UDP)
- Must be present at all PPP / UDP activities.
- Oversee all administrative responsibilities within the PPP / UDP.
- Address parent complaints / questions.
- Manage PPP / UDP staff.
- Create and manage PPP / UDP curriculum and delivery.
- Manage all PPP / UDP budgets, finances, and P & L.
- Manage all player evaluations and player movement within the PPP / UDP or Philadelphia Union Academy.
- Secure training venues for PPP / UDP.
- Tournament / League registration for PPP / UDP.
- Take lead on any travel / tournament / event plans for PPP / UDP.
- Lead the ID Event and player placement process.
- Develop a PPP / UDP annual schedule and periodization plan.
Affiliates
- Manage existing affiliate contracts.
- Promote the Union Youth affiliate program.
- Advise, educate, and provide development opportunities to all affiliate clubs.
- Establish and manage partnerships with youth soccer organizations to drive the progression and growth of the Union Youth affiliation network.
- Drive the Union Youth principles into affiliate programs including an enhanced training component for all levels.
- Build on existing affiliate development programs and create a full calendar of Union Youth programs in various regions associated with the Philadelphia Union catchment area.
- Participate in establishing a network of affiliate camps at various venues and areas throughout the region.
- Affiliate Business Development (New Clubs).
- Oversee Affiliate Club Onboarding process for new clubs.
- Consistent communication with all Affiliate clubs.
- Maintain and monitor affiliate P&L, Budgets, and Invoicing.
- Hold all Affiliate Clubs accountable to benchmark standards as set forth by the Philadelphia Union.
- Provide the Senior Director with weekly reports on all active affiliate programs, staff, and upcoming events.
- Oversee all affiliate programs and the collection of data needed for evaluation of the Union Youth programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a minimum of a USSF 'B' (or equivalent). Valid US driver license.
- Personal transportation (must be able to transport equipment).
- Have 10 years' minimum experience coaching youth, collegiate and/or professional soccer. Coaching Education Experience is preferred.
- Possess the drive to develop youth players and work as part of a team.
- Have knowledge of identifying and developing talent.
- Possess basic computer skills, for example Excel, word, power point, keynote.
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability.
- Possess a positive, outgoing, engaging, and professional personality.
- Occasional bending, lifting, and carrying objects up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to walk and stand for short periods of time.
- Ability to work as business needs require which may include long days, evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and travel if/when necessary.
- Must possess U.S. work authorization not requiring sponsorship by the employer.
