Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Packaging Designer to join our team in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This position offers the opportunity to learn and grow within our organization while developing essential sales skills and knowledge. Job Title: Packaging Designer
Location: Fond du Lac, WI 54935
Essential Functions
- Fulfill prototype/sample requests.
- Responsible for entering and maintaining QPI spec database.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to ensure your part of overall design is completed on time.
- Responsible for producing initial prototype samples using Kongsberg cutting table.
- Ability to modify work schedule based on customer demand.
- Assist in maintaining and updating design center project list.
- Responsible for following and enforcing QPI safety policy and procedure.
Qualifications
- Must have working knowledge of Artios CAD.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus.
- The ability to perform math with an emphasis on Geometry.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate well verbally and electronically.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize with little direction.
Education/Experience
- 2–4-year degree specializing in Industrial/Product Design or Package Engineering.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
