World Wide Technology is looking for a Sr. Cisco Network Engineer. This job is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners.

Role: Sr. Cisco Network Engineer

Location: Anchorage, AK (Must be local and able to go onsite daily)

Duration: 1 year contract (which should extend to multi-year)

Job Description:

Subject Matter Expert for the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting in the following areas:

• 5+ years of CCNP level experience in Route/Switch/Wireless/Security*
• Cisco Stacking and Switch Stack Virtual technology
• Switching Technologies – Multi-chassis Ether-channel, Dot1Q, VTP, Spanning-Tree
• Cisco Wireless technology including IOS-XE and AIROS
• Cisco ASA Firewall - NAT/IPSEC/SSLVPN, Transparent/Routed
• Cisco AnyConnect Policies and Profiles, SBL
• Cisco FMC and NGFW
• Cisco Security Suite - Secure End Point, Umbrella, DUO, StealthWatch, Thousand Eyes, SecureX
• Cisco ISE (MAB/Dot1x/TACACS/RADIUS/Posture)
• Routing Protocols, (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP)
• VRF Technology
• Administration and management of Cisco SmartNet, Smart Account, Licensing, ELA
• Logging technologies

Proficient* to Fluent in the following Information System Technologies:

• Project Management (Network focused Maintenance/Deployment projects) *
• Microsoft Windows Server (Active Directory Structure, File/Print Services) *
• DNS DHCP SNMP NTP Dot1x *
• Redundancy and resilience-based architecture*
• NIST 800-37
• GRC
• Citrix
• SSL Certificate creation and management
• Ubiquity and RADWIN Wireless PTP/PTMP
• Nexus 5K
• VMWare

• Mid-Level WAN/LAN Design & Review (~5 years)
• Routing & Switching Configuration Management
• Equipment Staging
• Equipment Implementation (including Rack & Stack)
