Southern Picnics is hiring: Event Planner in Raleigh

We are currently hiring an Event Planner! Come join the team named WRAL’s Event Planner of the Year for three years in a row!

• Part-time position with hourly pay of $20/hour plus tips
• Based in Raleigh, North Carolina
• Must be available on weekends
• 3-4 picnics a month, depending on season
• About 3 paid hours per picnic

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing picnic events from conception through completion
• Pick up and transport equipment/decor to the picnic locale
• Style picnic in line with the standards set forth by Southern Picnics
• Prep and assemble floral arrangements
• Photograph/video picnic
• Provide excellent hospitality and customer service to clients

Qualifications

• Must be available on weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
• A creative eye and ability to design picnics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Additional Qualifications (Not Essential)

• Previous experience in event planning or other related fields
• Background in guest services
