Requisition Number : TERRI003809 Posted : January 8, 2025 Employment Type : Full-Time Location : Remote (Must reside in NorCal area) This role is eligible to participate in Zenith’s hybrid work schedule which provides the flexibility to work from home on select days of the week according to the in-office schedule established by regional executive leadership. Responsibilities: Manage the distribution force for an assigned territory, including agency prospecting, appointments, relationship management, and termination if necessary. Train agents on Zenith's market, including underwriting appetite, capabilities, advantages, products, and services. Work with agents to shape the flow of submissions to ensure acceptable hit ratios and efficient relationships. Manage the sales process on new and renewal business, collaborating with underwriting and other departments. Support the company's pricing and selection disciplines. Actively seek opportunities for profitable growth and a better customer experience. Monitor the competition and build relationships between Zenith and agents and policyholders. What you will do: Manage assigned agents/territory and assess opportunities and challenges for profitable growth. Participate in the development and execution of the regional distribution strategy. Develop and maintain knowledge of the profile, book, sales approach, capabilities, competition, and key players in each appointed agency. Ensure appropriate agency administration, including contracts, coding, tiering, compensation, and contact information. Work with agents to develop a flow of qualified business and promote our small business plan. Track agency performance and outcomes, making adjustments as necessary. Advance the Zenith Brand and educate agents on Zenith's products and capabilities. Participate in the regional account management process and actively support underwriting and other departments. Education Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training/experience required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience preferred. Experience Qualifications: 5+ years of insurance industry experience, including workers' compensation product line and basic underwriting knowledge required. 5+ years of sales industry and/or customer-facing experience, including maintaining and growing a book of business. Skills and Abilities: Ability to present ideas effectively in formal and informal situations. Comfortable making public presentations. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Demonstrated influence management skills. Salary:
The expected salary range for this position is $102,520.50 - $128,150.63, adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
