Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the Network Operations Center (NOC), ensuring 24/7 reliability and performance. Lead and mentor a team of NOC professionals, providing technical guidance and escalation support for Layer 1-3 network issues. Develop and implement network quality assurance initiatives, optimizing availability and performance. Manage incident response, troubleshooting lit circuits, dark fiber services, and transport equipment. Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline vendor management, maintenance schedules, and capacity planning. Required Skills and Experience: 7+ years of experience in network operations, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. Strong expertise in Layer 2/3 networking, BGP, OSPF, and network troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with fiber optics, DWDM, Ethernet, and transport networks. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and provisioning platforms (Ciena MCP, Juniper, Cisco, ADVA). Certifications in Ciena, Cisco, or Juniper preferred.
