SUMMARY: As the Director of eCommerce & Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for driving the growth of both our direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B ecommerce businesses. You will lead initiatives to optimize performance marketing, retention strategies, ecommerce site optimization, and digital sales growth across all digital channels. This role demands strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners, to develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Planning & Execution : Develop and implement annual and seasonal strategies that align with sales goals and brand guidelines. Oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, sales, and enhance customer loyalty. Performance Marketing:
Lead all performance marketing efforts, including paid search, TV, display advertising, social media advertising, and direct mail. Ensure effective use of marketing budgets and maximize the ROI of each campaign. Retention & Lifecycle Marketing:
Build and execute retention strategies, such as email, SMS, and loyalty programs, to drive customer lifetime value. Work closely with the team to personalize the customer journey. Ecommerce Site Optimization:
Oversee the optimization of both B2B and DTC ecommerce sites, improving user experience, conversion rates, and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies. Identify and execute opportunities for growth across ecommerce channels. Agency & Partner Management:
Manage relationships with external media buying agencies and digital partners to ensure efficient execution of digital campaigns and marketing initiatives. Partner with internal Account Managers to align efforts and improve site performance on key retail platforms. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams such as Brand, Sales, Digital Operations, and Strategy & Insights to ensure a unified approach to digital marketing, order management, and sales performance. Team Leadership:
Supervise, develop, and mentor the digital marketing team members, ensuring effective execution and professional development. Qualifications
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, and digital strategy. Proven experience in performance marketing, retention marketing, and ecommerce site management. Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners. Positive attitude and ability to handle highly confidential information. Demonstrated success scaling a fast-growing brand profitably. A big picture thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to execute. Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and meeting deadlines. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience working with both DTC and B2B ecommerce platforms is a plus. Demonstrated success in managing ecommerce site optimizations, digital advertising, and performance marketing campaigns. Experience with ShopifyPlus.
