Membership & Marketing Assistant . This role will begin as a temporary position for 90 days, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Membership & Marketing Assistant will provide essential support to the Director of Membership & Communications. Responsibilities: Attend committee meetings and other meetings as designated by supervisors Type meeting minutes, file said minutes, organize digitally and in hard copy Uploading, updating, and maintaining current member information Draft expertly written emails and confidential letters to members, prospects, vendors, and Committee members Assist in writing, proofreading, composing, and editing club emails to the membership, updates, newsletters, reminders, etc. Assist in updating the website as needed, including the hours of operation, by-laws, social/dining calendar, Board minutes, and other documents Perform clerical duties, including filing, copying, faxing, and composing correspondence as needed Mailing letters and certified communications Organizing documents and committee binders, refiling and managing record-keeping systems Learn, understand, and become proficient in special applications to run reports and manage member information Assist in the creation of e-blasts for various Club events Coordinate with department heads to promote tournaments, specialty dining, clubhouse announcements, etc. Take photos and organize to upload to the website and use in promotional materials Social media management, including the creation of a content calendar Email Committee Meeting Reminders with agenda in a timely manner Engage with department heads to determine web needs and maintain and promote club's website content and usage for members Assist in creating & publishing online quarterly calendar of all club events Coordinate efforts with Club Essential to maintain and enhance website functionality Ensure consistency between the website and other member communications Assist with annual mailings & roster updates Attend member Social, Golf or Tennis events as needed. Assist in creating and uploading marketing collateral to promote member events to website + mobile app Create and facilitate new member welcome packets Assist Members with notary documents Assist with creative project request spreadsheet Complete special committee projects as assigned This is not an exhaustive list of duties & responsibilities as Supervisor may ask for help with other duties and projects, as needed Qualifications: Superior writing skills, grammar, and expert copy editing Focused on completing projects Punctuality with project deadlines within regular office hours Excellent computer and technical abilities Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and Excel Takes ownership of projects—follow up, follow through, execute, and deliver Highly organized & efficient with time Progressive and detailed project management abilities Photography Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred About the Organization: La Gorce Country Club is committed to being continually recognized as the private golf and country club of choice in South Florida, building on our long-standing tradition of excellence.
