As the Senior Manager of NAND Component Marketing for Micron's Storage Business Unit (SBU), you will define and complete Micron's NAND vision for SBU. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams that include engineering, sales, operations and manufacturing to define groundbreaking NAND and storage solutions built from solid state technologies that solve our customer's technology needs. Our Strategic Marketing team leads three key subject areas of Enterprise/Cloud SSD, Client SSD and Enterprise Component NAND associated activities for Micron's SBU Day-to-day responsibilities will center on leading multi-functional efforts to define NAND solutions via the company's roadmap process while leading key relationships with Enterprise Component NAND customers. This influential role requires outstanding skills in analytics, market understanding, and strategic engagement with Micron's customer base. You will develop/use relationships with industry key suppliers, and customers, and drive related planning initiatives within the organization. A successful candidate must demonstrate excellent technical, business, strategy, and communications skills Role and Responsibilities: + Work with sales teams to develop both short-range and long-range pricing and revenue forecasts + Develop strategic customer plans to maintain and grow Micron's Enterprise Component NAND business + Track and lead design-win progress in key market segments/customers and work with the customer and Micron engineering teams to resolve technical barriers + Drive product development teams to meet product objectives & close / raise open issues affecting OEM opportunities + Work with multi-functional teams (technology development, SSD Architecture, SSD marketing, etc.) to develop and leverage key NAND features, specifications and requirements and build consensus on cost, schedule and performance targets ? + Generating product collateral (roadmaps, product technical and performance summaries, etc.) + Develop and establish the multi-year product strategy and roadmap, in partnership with your cross-functional core team + Coordinate and compile future enterprise and client SSD market trends, finds opportunities and enables solutions + Maintain good relationships with NAND customers and the ecosystem to understand their needs and how to deliver value with your products + Maintain clear and timely communication around the health, priorities, and trade-offs of the product line, across all levels of the Micron organization to drive execution over the lifecycle of our products - from development to end-of-life Qualification and Education: + BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS or MBA is helpful. + 10+ years of work experience in the semiconductor industry in product development, engineering and product planning product line management roles + Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills - for internal, external, and executive audiences + Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in SSDs and/or NAND + Ability to understand, discuss and explain NAND operations, performance limitations and improvement opportunities + Ability to think creatively and innovatively + Capable of discussing technical details of issues with Applications and Product engineering teams and customer engineers + Professional judgment, discretion, and critical thinking + Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges + Experience leading multi-functional teams and working across multiple locations. + Ability to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally.
