Savvy, Inc. is hiring: Children's Graphic Designer SBH Fashion $60k - $75k/year

Children's apparel company in Central New Jersey looking for a Graphic Designer. Must have some experience designing for children's apparel.

1. Create print designs & develop, execute, and follow-up on concepts for art including all changes and processes required.
2. Prepare CADs for internal presentations.
3. Prepare color separations for screen prints so art is 'print ready' when sent to the factory.
4. Shop the market to research and identify current trends and present competitive data as it relates to their prospective area of responsibility to establish key objectives for the brand.
5. Work closely with Design, Sales, and Brand Management teams to conceptualize and launch clothing lines for several levels of distribution.
6. Ensure accuracy and adherence of line sheets, production logs, and design catalog.
7. Partner with Sales and Marketing to merchandise showrooms for seasonal market dates.
8. Special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

1. 2+ years of experience in the fashion industry (children’s wear knowledge) - New Jersey onsite.
2. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
4. Brand-appropriate aesthetic.
5. Illustration skills a plus.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
