ADI Global Distribution is looking for an experienced UX Researcher as an essential member of the growing ecommerce-based Digital Experience team.

You enjoy conducting multiple kinds of UX Research techniques that uncover insights to help us create simple, elegant, and efficient user-centered experiences that exceed customer needs. Job Duties:

  • Conduct User Research – Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic research.
  • Analyze User Behavior – Synthesize research findings to identify user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns that inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure user insights are integrated into product development.
  • Develop User Personas & Journeys – Create detailed user personas, journey maps, and workflows to illustrate user experiences and inform design strategies.
  • Test Prototypes & Products – Conduct usability testing on wireframes, prototypes, and live products to assess functionality, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Translate Research into Actionable Insights – Present findings and recommendations to teams through reports, presentations, and workshops.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on UX Trends & Best Practices – Keep informed of industry trends, emerging research methods, and evolving user expectations.
  • Advocate for the User – Champion user needs within the organization, ensuring a human-centered approach to product and experience development.
  • Measure UX Impact – Evaluate the success of design solutions using key performance indicators (KPIs), usability metrics, and post-launch feedback.
  • Build & Maintain Research Repositories – Organize and manage research documentation to ensure insights are accessible and reusable across teams.

You Must Have:

  • Minimum of ten years of successful UX Research experience, preferably for an ecommerce product-driven business.
  • Understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles.
  • Proficiency in qualitative research and quantitative research (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, ethnographic studies).
  • Experience with quantitative research (e.g., surveys, A/B testing, analytics).

  • Experience researching B2C ecommerce websites and apps.
  • Significant digital and mobile research experience.
  • Able to present research findings and lead stakeholders to the correct solution in a compelling way.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent research skills with sensitivity to user experience interaction across touch points and systems.
  • Familiarity with the wireframing and prototyping tool Figma is a plus.
