Summary

The Senior Production Manager will lead, innovate, and scale the production of TopstepTV. TopstepTV is one of the most watched live futures day trading shows on YouTube, featuring home grown traders and industry experts, with over 1M views per month, and 45K views per day. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for ensuring flawless execution of daily production, team management, and driving long-term content strategy to accelerate our YouTube growth.

This role requires a seasoned production leader with expertise in live video production, digital content, and audience growth strategies. You will be at the helm of our transition from remote operations to a full-scale studio, designing workflows, implementing best practices, and ensuring TopstepTV is the highest-quality trading show on YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Production Team, including producers, technical staff, eventually camera crew and other in-studio positions.
  • Oversee live content production, ensuring high-quality execution and engagement.
  • Set the creative and technical vision for the show with the Sr. Manager of On-Air Talent & Director of Media, elevating production quality and storytelling.
  • Develop and implement long-term production strategies to optimize YouTube engagement and subscriber growth.
  • Drive audience development initiatives, collaborating with Directors of Media & Marketing, to increase retention and virality.
  • Analyze production workflows and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay ahead of trends in YouTube, live streaming, and digital media, incorporating best practices.
  • Lead the transition from remote to in-studio operations, designing production infrastructure with our Director of Technology, team structure, and workflow automation.

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • 7+ years of experience in television production or live streaming.
  • Deep expertise in YouTube growth strategies, engagement analytics, and content optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale a production team and launch high-impact digital content.
  • Strong creative and technical vision, with experience implementing broadcast-quality production workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with vMix, OBS, and multi-camera live production. Experience in GT Title Designer, Adobe After Affects, and Adobe premier is preferred but not required.
  • Thrives in high-pressure live environments, where troubleshooting and problem-solving is expected in real time. We’re looking for resourceful, action-oriented individuals.
  • Experience leading a production team in a studio. Experience transitioning a production team from remote to in-studio is preferred, but not required.
  • Interest in futures trading or finance is preferred but not required. TopstepTV is a futures trading live stream, so a general knowledge of the field will make it easier to create relevant content. But don’t worry, many current employees started from scratch.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

  • $120,000-$160,000
