WPBF, the ABC affiliate in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is offering a Paid Internship in the Creative Services Department.
Summer 2025 Session:
Application Window: March 15, 2025 – April 30, 2025
Session: June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025

Interns will spend 10-12 weeks shadowing and gaining on-the-job experience. You will be working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You will report to the Creative Services Director. In-person attendance is required.
WPBF’s Creative Services Department is responsible for the branding and promotional development of the station. The intern will gain a general understanding of how a television Creative Services department runs. They will learn the fundamentals of writing and producing effective topical promotion for WPBF.
Interns will learn to:
- Understand the fundamentals of writing and producing effective news and weather promotion.
- Explore broadcast and digital marketing and learn the responsibilities of the Creative Services Department.
- Gain production experience on promotional and commercial shoots, both in-house and on location.
- Observe newscasts and editing sessions.
- Write copy for WPBF news promos.
- Gain an understanding of WPBF’s commitment to the community through PSA production.
- Apply writing and communication skills in a professional environment.
