The Social Media Manager is responsible for maintaining the firm’s social presence on all brand social channels. As a key member of the digital marketing team, he or she will craft engaging text- and image-based content that amplifies the brand for its key audiences to drive brand awareness and loyalty, audience engagement and growth.
This position is responsible for helping to curate content, plan and execute a robust social media calendar and for evolving, maintaining and communicating internally the firm’s general and platform-specific editorial guidelines and best practices for social engagement.
This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain a social calendar that defines content, cadence and channel
- Craft social posts for all brand channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, that express the firm’s unique voice and drive audience and engagement
- Work with broader content, marketing and communications teams to amplify brand stories, but also develop unique social-first content that includes visuals and videos
- Analyze, report and act on post-performance and other relevant data
- Monitor social listening tools, as well as trending topics and hashtags, for opportunities and key conversations, and share back with relevant departments
- Oversee community management and brand engagement, responding to mentions and creating organic brand relationships with social media influencers
- Translate research and other business content for social platforms
- Consult with internal clients on social campaigns and tactics
- Stay current on constantly evolving social media trends; help evolve, maintain and uphold best practices for social presence
- Work with vendors and platforms to optimize results and identify opportunities for new platforms and tools
- Work closely with the recruiting team in creating content and attracting potential candidates via social media posts
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience as a social content creator
- Fluency with social platforms and second-nature understanding of their differentiating strengths and limitations
- Passion for continuous improvement and agility in reframing, re-promoting and repositioning content
- Ability to quickly craft social content in response to trending topics and data on post-performance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create both text- and image-driven content
- Ability to collaborate across functions and departments
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Well organized and self-motivated
- Excellent command of written English and AP Style
- Strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
