Overview JumpCloud is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product Marketing Management (PMM) to lead and scale our product marketing function. This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the CMO, responsible for shaping our product and brand narratives, driving market adoption, and fueling revenue growth. You will lead a high-performing team and work closely with key stakeholders across the company. We're looking for a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and a proven leader who can inspire and motivate a team while navigating the complexities of the fast-growing identity management market, with a core focus on self-serve, SMB, commercial, and mid-market customers. About the Team The Product Marketing team at JumpCloud is a group of passionate, collaborative, and results-oriented individuals. We are the voice of the customer within JumpCloud, and we are responsible for translating complex technical concepts into clear and compelling value propositions. We work closely with Product to influence the product roadmap, with Sales to equip them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, and with Marketing to execute integrated marketing campaigns. We are a data-driven team, constantly analyzing market trends and customer feedback to refine our strategies and improve our performance. We embrace experimentation, iteration, and a bias for action. What You'll Be Doing:

Product Messaging and Positioning:

Develop and refine compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates JumpCloud from competitors and resonates with our target audience, with a strong emphasis on the value proposition for self-serve, SMB, commercial, and mid-market customers. This includes clearly articulating the value proposition of our platform and its various features. Brand Messaging and Positioning:

Collaborate with the broader marketing and sales development team to ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all channels. Pricing and Packaging:

Lead the development and execution of pricing and packaging strategies that maximize revenue and market share within our target customer segments. Product and Feature Naming:

Develop and implement a clear and consistent naming convention for JumpCloud products and features. Competitive Intelligence:

Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify market trends, understand competitor strengths and weaknesses, and inform product and marketing strategies. Customer Intelligence:

Deeply understand our target audience, including their needs, pain points, and buying behaviors. Conduct market research, customer interviews, and other forms of customer intelligence gathering specifically focused on our core customer segments. Sales Enablement:

Equip the sales team with the tools, training, and resources they need to effectively sell JumpCloud's products and services to our target customer segments. Analyst Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts to influence their perceptions of JumpCloud and our platform. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product marketing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Go-to-Market Strategy:

Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product enhancements, specifically designed for our self-serve, SMB, commercial, and mid-market customers. Quarterly Thematic Release Planning:

Lead the cross-functional planning and execution of quarterly thematic go-to-market releases, packaging features into cohesive narratives and developing a full complement of campaign materials. Pipeline Generation:

Partner with Revenue Marketing to develop and execute campaigns that generate new business pipeline and accelerate sales cycles. What We're Looking For:

A seasoned product marketing leader with 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in the identity management, security, or IT infrastructure space. Proven ability to develop and execute successful product marketing strategies that drive revenue growth. Deep understanding of the IT landscape and the challenges faced by IT professionals and MSPs serving SMB, commercial, and mid-market organizations. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with a proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with senior leaders and technical experts. A diplomatic and adaptable leader who can effectively navigate complex situations and achieve alignment across different perspectives. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. Excellent presentation skills and executive presence. Data-informed approach to decision-making with experience using analytics to track and measure performance. Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. A passion for technology and a desire to make a difference in the world of IT. Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience marketing to SMB and mid-market customers. Experience with self-serve, product-led growth and sales-led growth motions. Familiarity with the JumpCloud platform, the market and its competitors. In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $240,000-$320,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. In the US, JumpCloud provides a comprehensive benefits package, with several medical plans to choose from including a high deductible HSA plan with employer contribution, two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending account (FSA), employee assistance program (EAP), short- and long-term disability, life insurance and a 401k savings plan with match. We have a flexible paid time off policy. Where you’ll be working/Location: JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that you are able to work remotely within the country noted in the Job Description. All roles posted in United States locations do require that you be located within one of the 50 U.S. States. Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area but as a remote company, you are able to work remotely anywhere in the U.S. Language: JumpCloud has teams in 15+ countries around the world and conducts our internal business in English.
