The Manager, Marketing Tools is responsible for creating roadmaps and leading implementation and continual improvement of the Airtable platform for Disney Entertainment Television (DET) marketing. This role will provide subject matter expertise, owning platform discovery, workflow design, and delivery, and subsequent maintenance and optimization. The Manager, Marketing Tools liaises with creative marketing project management and technology leads to ensure business fit and functional elements of platform implementation are effective. He or she will also be responsible for training and leading the function across the marketing tools team.

Responsibilities: Oversee, manage, and prioritize the roadmap and overall platform strategy for DET Marketing in support of business priorities. Develop, train, and successfully deliver on responsibilities through a team of platform specialists and third-party vendors. Responsible for ensuring the platform meets the requirements of all stakeholders including marketing strategy, creative, technology and operations. Facilitate discovery sessions to acquire a thorough insight into the operational and reporting needs, requirements, and expectations of all participating teams. Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation and implementation of platform functionality to cater to business needs, while overseeing governance and operations. Implement digital platform solutions in conformance with data governance policies and procedures. Lead change management, including communication, training, and support to facilitate the adoption of new workflows. Partner with platform CSMs and internal platform product leads to own the analysis and documentation needs of changes to platform functionality to cater to business needs, while coordinating governance and operations. Design and ensure implementation of integrations across related internal tools and workflows, working in partnership with other functions (e.g. media management, technology, and third party). Multi-faceted role with responsibilities that will evolve to align to current business objectives. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of related work experience including Airtable or related no code app development and/or other cloud-based project management or data visualization software. Experience supervising a team and third-party vendors within a cross-functional or matrix structure. Experience planning and implementing general cross-platform API functionality, particularly with platforms such as Salesforce and Adobe tools and services. Demonstrated ability to translate business vision into tactical execution and deliver results. Understanding of relational database design concepts. Previous experience in project management, process optimization, and change management. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The candidate must live within a commutable distance of our office in Santa Monica. This position requires onsite attendance 4 days a week. Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate. Experience with Airtable, Jira, and/or Google Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Adobe Creative Suite and Java Script. Required Education: BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
