Title : Marketing & Events Coordinator

Address : Rockville, MD 20850 Schedule : In-Office M-Fr 8:30a – 4:30p Salary : $65,000 - $70,000 Bonus : 10% annual Benefits : PTO - starts accruing from day 1, 112 hours in first year: 1 week vacation, 1 week sick, 4 personal days, in 3rd year get 2 weeks of vacation and 2 weeks of sick, offer tuition reimbursement, 401k - 100% up to 5% (eligible to participate after 1 year, vests immediately), offer discounts on residential sites (up to 10% off market rate), health insurance - 3 plans through United (ranging in price from $0 to $88 biweekly for employee only (additional costs for kids/spouse)) Department : Marketing Selling Points : This is the first dedicated marketing role in this market, meaning there’s huge growth potential to build out the function from the ground up. What You’ll Be Doing: Plan, organize, and manage community and promotional events, including some evenings and weekends. Develop and maintain event calendars, tracking budgets, vendor relationships, and performance metrics. Build partnerships with tenants, local businesses, and community organizations to increase engagement. Oversee event marketing, including signage, email campaigns, and social media promotions. Develop and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans. Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, website updates, lead generation campaigns, and online advertising. Track and analyze marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize advertising strategies. Assist in special projects and property-specific marketing initiatives. Prepare and present marketing analytics and reports to leadership as needed. What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of experience in marketing, events, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Events, or a related discipline (preferred). Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities. Experience with event planning, community engagement, and partnership development. Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, email campaigns, and online advertising. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing materials. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
