Mission:
As the SEO and CMS Specialist at The AZEK Company, you will be responsible for enhancing our digital presence, driving measurable improvements in organic search performance, and ensuring a seamless website experience. Reporting to the VP of Digital Experience, you will leverage your expertise in CMS management, technical SEO, and AI-powered optimization tools to increase site traffic, engagement, and conversion rates. Your success will be measured by the growth in organic traffic, improvements in search rankings, and efficiency gains in SEO execution.
Performance Objectives:
Optimize Website Performance & User Experience: Within the first 90 days, assess and recommend improvements to implement site speed, usability, and accessibility, ensuring page load times consistently meet industry best practices. Continuously monitor and enhance website architecture and navigation, driving a measurable increase in conversion rates.
Drive SEO Growth: Conduct and implement keyword research strategies that increase organic traffic by at least 10% within the first year. Optimize metadata, on-page content, and internal linking structures to improve rankings for high-value keywords. Execute technical SEO audits, resolving crawl issues, managing redirects, and implementing structured data markup to improve indexability.
Leverage AI-Powered SEO Solutions: Within the first 120 days, recommend tools to integrate AI-driven SEO tools to automate keyword analysis, content recommendations, and reporting. Utilize predictive analytics to refine SEO strategies and improve content engagement by at least 10%.
Collaborate for Cross-Functional Impact: Partner with UX, IT, content, and paid media teams to align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing initiatives. Develop and implement a CMS optimization roadmap, ensuring alignment with content strategy and marketing objectives.
Measure & Report Performance: Establish key performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track SEO improvements and site performance. Provide monthly insights and recommendations based on analytics, leading to data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.

2+ years of experience in CMS platforms (Adobe, WordPress, etc.) and SEO tools (BrightEdge, SEMRush, etc.). Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Experience conducting site audits, keyword research, and data analysis to drive informed decisions. Collaboration & Communication:
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Agility & Innovation:
Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to optimize SEO processes and digital content management.
This position is based at AZEK's corporate office in the Fulton Market District of Chicago, IL, with a hybrid work schedule.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $73,500 in our lowest market up to $89,500 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
