The Microsoft Azure and Industry Marketing team is responsible for accelerating Cloud products and services across the Azure portfolio of Infrastructure, Data and AI, and Digital Applications, and communicates our environmental sustainability progress to commercial audiences.

Are you passionate about driving environmental sustainability through innovative technology? Microsoft is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager for Sustainability to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Sustainability across our cloud portfolio and our sustainability products, partnering closely with leadership to drive customer acquisition, adoption, and renewal.

As part of the Microsoft Azure and Industry Marketing team, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, Sustainability. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the sustainability sector and a proven ability to work collaboratively across teams. You will lead efforts to compile and analyze market intelligence, develop differentiated messaging, and refine our GTM strategies based on performance metrics. Success in this role means driving significant customer engagement and adoption of our solutions, achieving revenue targets, and contributing to Microsoft's mission of empowering every person and organization on the planet. We seek a highly self-motivated and self-directed individual who can effectively lead sales enablement and partner strategies for our sustainability solutions. This role requires a thorough business acumen and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that support our partners and drive our sales efforts. Responsibilities

Go-to-Market, Strategy & Performance

Compiles and evaluate market intelligence and customer data to identify opportunities and define strategies for customer acquisition, adoption and renewal of our sustainability products and solutions.

Develops the GTM strategy in partnership with leadership.

Recommends GTM strategies and plans including marketing mix, partner strategy, investments, product placement and incentive strategies.

Tracks performance of programs and makes recommendations for adjustment to GTM strategy.

Collects, analyzes and reports on performance metrics to improve GTM.

Sales Enablement & Marketing Readiness

Identifies product Key Selling Points and aligns with Product Marketing to support differentiated messaging.

Understands they buyers and sales journey and how best to activate them.

Supports and participates in business deals, identifies strategic partnerships to drive goals.

Drives collaboration to land marketing programs with sales and partner teams.

Aligns marketing programs with broader sustainability programs.

Ensures orchestration of channels, motions, offers and overall marketing readiness for product and campaign launches.

Partner with integrated marketing and channel teams to align and drive execution

Works with GTM sales to support Product Launch Coordination (Cross Marketing, Field, Comms)

Marketing & Sales Content

Builds basic Bill of Materials for product and go-to-market motions.

Support the development of the creation of immersive content to bring the value proposition to life internally in ways that can be leveraged externally as well as externally.

Creates or updates customers/partner facing materials.

Partners with events team to execute and land sustainability events.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in Data & AI Product Solutions

OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in Data & AI Product Solutions

OR equivalent experience.

3 + years experience developing sales and partner enablement strategies

3+ years experience delivering go-to-market strategies

3+ years experience working with cloud services/products.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data & AI Product Solutions OR related field AND 6+ years experience in Data & AI Product Solutions

OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business OR related field AND 8+ years experience in Data & AI Product Solutions

OR equivalent experience.

Experience partnering with Corporate Social Responsibility teams.

3+ years sustainability experience

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
